What You Need: |

½ pound flaky pastry
Sugar
Sliced cabbage
1 beef cube, dissolved in water

How To Cook: |
1. Roll out the pastry.
2. Put the cabbage into boiling water to soften it, and then put it into a pan with the hot butter or lard, a little water, the vinegar, a little salt and sugar, and the beef cube, dissolved in water.
3. Stew gently, adding a little more water as necessary (the less the better).
4. Fry the mushrooms and onion in butter and add to the cooked cabbage mixture, with the hardboiled eggs, cut into small pieces.
5. Put the filling on the pastry, make into a roll and bake in a hot oven (450°F) for 1 hour.
