1. Soak the rolls in the milk and water, squeeze well and sieve.

2. Add the cheese, salt, beaten eggs and softened butter.
|
3. Mix well and stir in the semolina.
|
4. Leave the mixture in a covered bowl for 1 hour.
|
5. Form into small balls and poach in boiling salted water for 5 or 6 minutes.
|
6. Drain, roll in fried breadcrumbs.
|
7. Serve as an accompaniment to meat or stewed fruit.
