What You Need: |

2 firm heads of lettuce
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 oz fat bacon
Salt and pepper

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Wash lettuce and shake dry.
|
2. Cube the bacon and let it fry gently until it is golden-brown and much of the fat has been extracted.
|
3. Toss the lettuce with the vinegar, season to taste and mix in the bacon and bacon fat when it is cool but not solidified.
