1. Put the corn flour into a small saucepan, blend to a smooth paste with a little of the orange juice, then stir in the rest of the fruit juices, the sugar and the peel, and keep stirring while bringing to the boil.

2. Take off the heat, and when cool, fold in the whipped cream, retaining a small amount for the final decoration.

3. Now pour the mixture into the neatly cut empty halves of the oranges, or into individual glasses.
|
4. Either meringues or little orange sticks make a delicious accompaniment to this sweet.
