Viennese Beefsteaks
What You Need:
  • 4 fillet steaks, ˝ inch thick
  • 4 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lard
  • 1 cup beef broth

  • How To Cook:
    1. Beat the steaks well and fry quickly in the lard on both sides.

    2. Add the onions and continue cooking on a lower heat until the meat is done.

    3. Remove the meat and keep it hot, continuing to fry the onions until golden, adding butter to the pan.

    4. Pour in the broth and bring to the boil.

    5. Pour over the meat and serve with boiled potatoes.

    To Serve: 2 - 4
