What You Need:
(To make 1 cocktail)

3 ounces bourbon or blended whiskey
½ teaspoon superfine sugar
1 ice cube
1 strip lemon peel
5 drops Peychaud bitters, or substitute Angostura bitters
3 drops Ojen (Spanish absinthe), or substitute Pernod
An old-fashioned glass

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Place the whiskey and sugar in an old-fashioned glass and stir with a bar spoon to dissolve the sugar.
|
2. Add the ice cube and lemon peel, and top with the bitters and absinthe or Pernod. Stir briefly.
