1. Lightly peel and seed grapefruit. Chop two and put into a blender with ½ cup water. Mince.

2. Add soda to this and boil for 30 minutes.
|
3. Cut up remaining 2 grapefruits and limes discarding seeds. Add to ½ cup water and mince in blender.
|
4. Add this to cooked mixture with rest of water and boil for 30 minutes.
|
5. Add sugar and stir and boil for 10 - 15 minutes, being careful to stir frequently to avoid burning and to melt sugar.

6. Add dissolved gelatin to marmalade when it has cooled slightly.
|
