What You Need:

  • 1 pound Edam cheese, finely grated
  • 6 eggs, well beaten
  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

  • How To Cook:
    1. Combine the cheese, eggs, and cornstarch in a bowl and mix well.

    2. Then shape into small balls, about 2 teaspoons to a ball.

    3. Heat the vegetable oil, add the cheese balls, and fry until golden brown.

    4. Serve hot as an appetizer or party hors d' oeuvres on toothpicks.
