3 cups boiled pureed pumpkin (1½ lbs)
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
1 onion chopped
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
Salt and black pepper to taste
3 teaspoons sherry

How To Cook: |

|
1. In a saucepan, melt butter and fry onions.
|
2. Add flour, salt, pepper and sugar and cook well.
|
3. Add milk slowly, stirring blending butter, flour and milk mixture. Add sherry to mixture.
|
4. Combine pumpkin with mixture. Stir until smooth and thickened.
|
5. Simmer for five minutes.
