What You Need:

2 cups milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup sugar
4 egg yolks
1 tablespoon gelatin
2 tablespoons cold water
¾ cup orange juice
1 teaspoon orange rind
1 pint whipped cream
Sponge cake slices

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Heat milk in double boiler. Mix cornstarch, sugar and yolks and pour into warm milk. Cook slowly for 10 minutes.
|
2. Dissolve gelatin into warm water and add juice and rind. Place in refrigerator to chill and thicken.
|
3. Line a spring form pan with slices of sponge cake. Pour mixture over this and chill.
|
4. Just before serving, top with some whipped cream.
