How To Cook: |
1. Put the pork in a large covered casserole. With two forks, separate the pork into bite-size pieces, if it is ground. Cook in the microwave oven until all the pink is gone (about 10 minutes).
2. Add the beef. (If it is ground, separate into bite-size pieces as you did the pork.) Continue cooking until the pink is gone from the beef. Stir from time-to-time. If too much liquid accumulates, cook for awhile without the cover during this period.
3. When the meat is done and tender, add all of the remaining ingredients, except the bean sprouts. Continue cooking, covered, in the microwave oven, stirring from time-to-time until the vegetables are almost tender.
4. Stir in the bean sprouts. Cook 2 or 3 minutes longer, depending on how well-done you prefer the sprouts. Serve with hot cooked rice.
