3 tablespoons butter
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup raw rice
2 cups beef bouillon
1 can (8-ounce) tomato sauce
½ teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Put the butter and onion in a large covered casserole and cook 4 minutes. Add the rice and remaining ingredients.
|
2. Cook, covered, in the microwave oven, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and all the liquid is absorbed. (This should take 15 to 20 minutes.)
|
3. A little more liquid can be added near the end of the cooking time if the rice is not tender but is cooking dry.
