  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 8 green peppers
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  • How To Cook:
    1. Wash, core, and seed the peppers and cut them into strips.

    2. Put the peppers and oil into a covered casserole and cook in the microwave oven until the peppers are tender. (This will take about 7 to 8 minutes.)

    3. If too much liquid accumulates, cook with the cover off for the last minute or two. Add the seasoning.

    4. Olive oil has a distinctive flavor, but other oils can be substituted (with some loss of taste). Also, you can use butter or margarine, if you wish.
