  • 1 pound fresh whitefish, skinless, boneless, and cut into ½-inch cubes (cod, snapper or halibut)
  • 1 cup peeled and chopped white onions
  • ¼ cup chopped scallions
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 fresh chili pepper, red or green, seeded and finely diced (choose hot or mild, to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Pinch of salt, or to taste

    GARNISH
  • Toasted sesame seeds

  • How To Cook:
    1. Mix all the ingredients and chill.

    2. Garnish with the sesame seeds and serve cold.
