What You Need:
(To Serve: 6 - 8)

2 salted herring fillets, about ½ pound, boneless and skinless (Soak in fresh water, which is changed often, for 12 hours.)
¼ cup dill pickles, rinsed and diced
4 hard-boiled eggs, diced
1½ cups sour cream
1½ teaspoons prepared horseradish
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

1. Drain the herring and dice.
