15 medium-hot green peppers, such as small or green Anaheims
½ pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon Kikkoman soy sauce
1 medium scallion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
½ teaspoon Sesame Salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon MSG (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, well beaten

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Peanut oil for pan-frying
|
2. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
|
3. Mix the beef with the soy sauce, onion, garlic, Sesame Salt, pepper, optional MSG, and sesame oil.
|
4. Stuff each of the pepper halves with the beef mixture. Dip the peppers into the flour and then into the beaten egg.
|
5. Fry until golden in a lightly oiled pan.
|
6. Serve hot or cold.
