A marvelous salad to serve at a family or children's luncheon.

What You Need:
(To Serve: 4)

|
4 unpeeled, cored red apples, diced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup diced celery
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
About 1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sharp prepared mustard
Salt, pepper to taste
Lettuce leaves, washed and dried
½ cup chopped filberts or walnuts

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Put apples in a serving dish.
|
2. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Add celery and cheese.
|
3. Mix mayonnaise and mustard. Season with salt and pepper.
|
4. Add to apple mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors.
|
5. Serve in lettuce cups sprinkled with nuts.
