A good and colorful salad for Thanksgiving or Christmas, featuring the native American cranberry.

What You Need:
(To Serve: 6 - 8)

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
¼ cup cold orange juice
2 cans (1 pound each) whole-berry cranberry sauce
½ cup sugar
1 cup diced, peeled apples
1 cup chopped walnuts
½ cup diced celery
Lettuce leaves, washed and dried

How To Cook: |

|
1. Soften gelatin in orange juice in a medium saucepan.
|
2. Add cranberries and sugar; cook 5 minutes.
|
3. Remove from heat; add apples, walnuts, and celery.
|
4. Turn into a 6-cup mold and refrigerate several hours until firm.
|
5. Unmold and serve over lettuce leaves on a large plate.
