6 large beetroots
2 oz fat
Pepper and salt to taste
1 tablespoon of vinegar
2 tablespoons of sour cream

How To Cook: |

1. Boil beetroots in their skins, peel and sieve or mince them.
|
2. Put into a saucepan with about fat, pepper and salt, vinegar and sour cream.
|
3. Heat well, stirring occasionally.
|
4. This goes well with beef, hare, rabbit or game.
