How To Cook: |

1. Cut the pork into pieces and fry until lightly browned in the hot fat.

2. Drain the sauerkraut through a colander, pressing out the liquid with a plate.
|
3. Chop the onions and fry them, adding the sauerkraut when they are half cooked.
|
4. Cook for a further 15 minutes, stirring all the time.
|
5. Add pepper (not salt) to taste and stir in the capers.
|
6. Put layers of sauerkraut and pork into a greased casserole and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for about 1 hour.
