What You Need:            (To Make: 1 pie)

  • ½ pound bread dough
  • 2 medium-sized onions, chopped and fried in butter
  • 3 oz butter
  • ½ pound grated Gruyere cheese
  • ½ pound Emmental cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup cream

  • How To Cook:
    1. Knead the bread dough with the butter, roll out and use to fill a round baking tin.

    2. Mix the remaining ingredients thoroughly and cover the pastry in a 1-inch thick layer.

    3. Bake in a moderately hot oven (425°F) for 30-35 minutes.
