What You Need:            (To Serve: 4)

  • 1 bunch fresh broccoli
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts or almonds

  • How To Cook:
    1. Cut off and discard large leaves and tough parts of broccoli stalks.

    2. Wash and dry. Cut into diagonal slices.

    3. Parboil in a little salted boiling water until just tender, about 6 minutes.

    4. Rinse quickly with cold water.

    5. Drain and cool. Spoon into a bowl.

    6. Combine remaining ingredients, except nuts, and pour over broccoli.

    7. Serve sprinkled with nuts.
