| 1. Cut off and discard large leaves and tough parts of broccoli stalks.

| 2. Wash and dry. Cut into diagonal slices.

| 3. Parboil in a little salted boiling water until just tender, about 6 minutes.

| 4. Rinse quickly with cold water. 
 
 | 
| 5. Drain and cool. Spoon into a bowl. 
 
 | 
| 6. Combine remaining ingredients, except nuts, and pour over broccoli. 
 
 | 
| 7. Serve sprinkled with nuts.
