| How To Cook: |

| 1. Preheat oven to 350°F degrees. 
 
 | 
| 2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt in a medium-size bowl. 
 
 | 
| 3. Cream butter, brown sugar and white sugar together in a large bowl. 
 
 | 
| 4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 
 
 | 
| 5. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. 
 
 | 
| 6. Add carrots, walnuts and raisins. 
 
 | 
| 7. Spoon into a greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2 inch-baking pan. 
 
 | 
| 8. Bake in oven at 350°F degrees for 45 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. 
 
 | 
| 9. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. 
 
 | 
| 10. Remove from pan and continue to cool completely. 
 
 | 
| 11. Sprinkle with sifted confectioners' sugar or top with your favorite cream cheese frosting. Cover and keep refrigerated.
