¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup lime juice
¼ unsweetened pineapple juice
1 cup water
½ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and shredded
2 tablespoons jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ cup pineapple chunks
¼ cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped

How To Cook: |

|
1. Blend sugar, cornstarch, salt, lime and pineapple juices in a saucepan until smooth.
|
2. Combine water, soy sauce, ginger and peppers.
|
3. Gradually stir water mixture into saucepan, cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce becomes thick and transparent.
|
4. Finish by stirring in the pineapple chunks, the wine and cilantro.
|
5. Serve as topping over fish or chicken.
