What You Need:            (To Serve: 6)

  • 1 8 ounce package elbow macaroni, cooked, rinsed & drained
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • ¼ pound (1 cup) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and hot pepper to taste
  • Dash of paprika

  • How To Cook:
    1. Boil macaroni until tender; add chopped onions and peppers to water to soften. Drain.

    2. Add half of the cheese and stir over low heat until melted.

    3. Stir in evaporated milk and eggs. Add seasoning.

    4. Put into a well-greased casserole dish or baking pan.

    5. Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly over top.

    6. Bake in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes or until mixture has set.

    7. Remove and let stand for 10 minutes.

    8. Cut into squares and serve.
