What You Need:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 oz butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teacup sugar
  • 30 walnuts

  • How To Cook:
    1. Rub fat into flour and mix to a stiff dough with the egg.

    2. Chop nuts roughly and mix with sugar.

    3. Roll out the dough thinly and sprinkle with the nut and sugar mixture.

    4. Cut into rounds, roll round the handle of a wooden spoon, remove from roller, place on a greased baking sheet and bake in a hot oven (450°F) till golden-brown.
