What You Need:

4 oz butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1¼ cups flour
A pinch of salt
3 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup groundnuts, shelled and broken into small pieces

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Cream the butter and sugar, beat in the egg, and then add the flour, salt, cocoa and baking powder.
|
2. Stir in the nuts, to give a fairly stiff mixture.
|
3. Place in spoonfuls on a greased baking sheet, spacing them fairly well apart, and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until lightly browned.
