How To Cook: |

|
1. Boil some green corn cobs; when cooked, cut the grains off.
|
2. Make the same quantity of thick tomato pulp by mincing the tomatoes first and frying them in with a little butter till thick; add sugar and salt to taste.
|
3. Butter a pie dish, put in a layer of tomato pulp, then a layer of mealies, then more tomato pulp and mealies, finishing with a last layer of tomato pulp; put small pieces of butter on each layer.
|
4. Sprinkle some breadcrumbs and a little parsley on top and bake in a moderate oven (375°F) until hot through and lightly browned.
