What You Need:            (To Make: 1 cake)

  • 1½ oz chopped groundnuts
  • 4 oz butter
  • 4 oz flour
  • 4 oz sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs

  • How To Cook:
    1. Cream the butter and sugar; beat in the eggs separately.

    2. Sieve the flour and baking powder and add 1 oz. of the nuts, add all to the egg mixture and fold in lightly.

    3. Put into small greased tins and sprinkle with the remaining nuts.

    4. Bake in a hot oven (450°F) for 10-15 minutes.
