What You Need:

  • 2 limes
  • 1¼ pound pineapple
  • 1¼ pound sugar
  • ¼ pint water

  • How To Cook:
    1. Peel the limes thinly and put the peel into a muslin bag.

    2. Squeeze out the juice and add, with the fruit, to syrup made of the sugar and water.

    3. Boil about 1 hour until pineapple is soft and clear.

    4. Bottle in hot, dry jars.
