What You Need:

2 pound minced mutton (preferably raw)
1 egg (beaten)
¼ grated nutmeg
A little chopped onion
Salt and pepper
1 - 2 slices white bread soaked in milk
Egg and crumbs to coat
1 - 2 tablespoons, tomato sauce
Deep fat for frying

1. Mix the ingredients well, shape into balls, egg and crumb and fry in hot fat.
