4 cups water
3 tablespoons cooking oil
2 medium onions
2 medium-sized tomatoes
Chopped parsley

How To Cook: |

1. Mix the mealie meal and water and cook slowly in a thick-bottomed pan, continually stirring to avoid lumps.
|
2. Chop the onions and fry brown in the oil.
|
3. Skin the tomatoes, cut into small sections, add both to the meal and mix all together.
|
4. Serve in a vegetable dish, smoothing the top or shape into balls.
|
5. This is delicious whether hot or cold and may be served with a green salad.
