How To Cook: |

1. Cut up the meat and slice the onions, apples and tomatoes.

2. Heat the dripping in a pan, add the meat, onion and apple, and fry until golden brown.

3. Add the tomatoes and curry powder and cook for a few minutes longer.
|
4. Place the mixture in a casserole, add the dried fruit, and barely cover with stock.
|
5. Lid the casserole and cook in a moderate oven (350°F) for 1½ hours.
|
6. Blend the flour with a little extra water and stir into the casserole.
|
7. Season to taste with a little salt and brown sugar, garnish with parsley and sliced egg, surround the casserole with potato crisps, and serve at once.
