1. Lightly fry sliced onion, add water, some pepper and salt and boil till the onion is well cooked.

2. In a separate pan, fry the fish, browning both sides lightly, pour off the fat.

3. Then add the onion and liquid cover the pan and simmer slowly for 10 minutes.
