What You Need:
(To Make: about 2 dozen; allow 2-3 per person)

1 can pineapple chunks
1 pound sirloin of beef cut in ¾-inch slices
1/3 cup soya sauce
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 small jar of small stuffed olives
¼ teaspoon ground ginger

How To Cook: |

|
1. Drain the juice from the pineapple and mix with the soya sauce, garlic and ginger; add the beef and let it stand for 1 hour.
|
2. Cut the beef into ¾-inch cubes.
|
3. Place alternate pieces of beef and pineapple on wooden skewers and put an olive at the end of each skewer.
|
4. Grill, turning once, for 10-12 minutes.
|
5. This is a dish of Japanese origin.
