1 pound prawns
2 teaspoons aji salt
½ oz lard or margarine
¼ pint (approx.) white sauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small egg
2 teaspoons finely chopped parsley
A little white wine (optional)
1 tomato
Breadcrumbs

How To Cook: |

|
1. Shell the cooked prawns.
|
2. Melt the fat and fry the onion, parsley and tomato, with the aji salt (which may be replaced by 2 teaspoons piquant table sauce); cook very slowly for about 20 minutes, stirring constantly.

3. Mix the creamy white sauce with the contents of the pan, and then add the well-beaten egg and the prawns with a little white wine.
|
4. Transfer to an ovenproof dish, cover the top with breadcrumbs and bake in a slow oven (325°F) for 25 minutes.
