What You Need:

1 dozen heads corn on the cob or 2 tins whole corn
1 little diced pumpkin
1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons dripping
½ pound stewing beef
1 chopped green pepper
A little stock
2 peeled tomatoes
3 blanched carrots
Salt and pepper

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Clean the corn on the cob and separate from the cob with a knife.
|
2. Place in a saucepan, with the diced meat, a little stock, sliced carrots and diced pumpkin and cook until tender.
|
3. Meanwhile saute the onion in the dripping, add the chopped green pepper, tomatoes, salt and pepper and cook for about 20 minutes.
|
4. Pour this sauce over the meat.
