What You Need:

  • Leeks
  • Water

  • How To Cook:
    1. Carefully clean and cut lengthwise as many leeks as required and put into a pan with cold water.

    2. Bring quickly to the boil, and then cook gently until soft.

    3. Strain the leeks, cut into still thinner strips and put into porridge plates.

    4. Pour over the leeks enough of the liquid in which they have been cooked to make a porridge consistency-thick or thin to taste.
