Vinegar
¼ oz blade of mace
6 peppercorns
¼ oz allspice
¼ oz root ginger (if a pickle is liked)
¼ oz cloves hot
¼ oz stick cinnamon

How To Cook: |

|
1. Tie the spices in muslin, place in a covered pan with the vinegar and heat slowly to boiling point.
|
2. Remove from the heat, leave to stand for 2 hours and remove the spices.
