What You Need:            (To Serve: 2 - 4)

  • Carp (about 3 pound in weight)
  • Salt
  • Flour
  • Egg
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Butter or fat for frying
  • Lemon
  • Parsley

  • How To Cook:
    1. Clean a carp and divide into portions.

    2. Wash, sprinkle with salt and leave for an hour.

    3. Dry the pieces with a cloth, dip into flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs and fry quickly in hot butter or fat.

    4. When the fish is golden-brown on each side, lower the heat and leave to cook gently until done.

    5. Garnish with lemon and parsley and serve with potato salad.
