How To Cook: |

1. Fry the chopped onions in the fat until brown, and then add the peeled and diced raw potatoes, together with the seasonings and flour.

2. Cover the pan and cook gently until the potatoes are done.
|
3. Add the milk and the roux with some chopped parsley and continue to cook until the mixture is brown and firm on the underside.
|
4. Turn it out on to a hot plate and serve at once either with meat or with brown gravy and a green vegetable or with onions.
