What You Need:
(To Serve: 2 - 4)

3 herrings
3 tablespoons cream
1 teaspoon made mustard
Chopped parsley
3 tablespoons salad oil
1 apple, sliced or finely minced
4 tablespoons wine vinegar
A few onions, very finely minced
Cream or sour milk (optional)

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Wash the herrings and soak for at least 12 hours.
|
2. Then skin and bone them and cut the flesh into small cubes.
|
3. If there are soft roes mix these with the mustard, oil and vinegar and pour this sauce over the herrings.
|
4. Then mix well with the onions together with the parsley and apple.
|
5. Add also a little cream or sour milk, if desired.
