Red cabbage
4 cooking apples
¾ pint salted water
A pinch of nutmeg
2 oz butter
1 tablespoon sugar

How To Cook: |

|
1. Wash and shred a medium-sized red cabbage.
|
2. Boil salted water and add the cabbage to it, with sliced cooking apples, and a pinch of nutmeg and simmer gently until the cabbage is cooked and most of the liquid has evaporated.

3. Add butter and sugar just before serving.
