1 pound kale
1 pound mashed potatoes
1 oz butter or dripping
Pepper

|
1. Boil curly kale in salted water until tender, drain, and mix with mashed potatoes, a little pepper and butter or dripping.
|
2. Pile the mixture into a fireproof dish, and on it place some smoked sausage, fried sausages or gammon.
|
3. Slowly heat in the oven until the sausage or gammon is hot.
|
