What You Need:

8 oz puff pastry
Pepper and salt
2 oz minced beef
A little grated nutmeg
2 oz minced veal
4 - 6 tablespoons fresh breadcrumbs
2 oz minced pork
1 small finely chopped onion
1 egg
Milk or egg to glaze

How To Cook: |

|
1. Prepare the pastry and roll out into a strip about 2 inches wide.
|
2. Mix the meat and other ingredients together, make into a roll of the same length as the pastry and place on it; damp one long edge, fold the pastry over lengthwise and seal as for sausage rolls.
|
3. Turn the join underneath, brush the top with milk or a little beaten egg, and cut into even lengths.
|
4. Bake in a moderately hot oven (425°F) for about 30 minutes.
|
5. Serve piping hot.
