5 oz butter
6½ oz flour
2½ oz granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
Green and red preserved cherries to decorate

How To Cook: |

|
1. Rub the butter into the flour, and then add the sugar and egg yolks.
|
2. Form the dough into a "sausage" about 1 inch in diameter, cut into pieces about 1 inch long and roll into balls.
|
3. Press half a cherry into each, place on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes in a hot oven (450°F) until lightly browned.
