½ teaspoon almond essence
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
½ cup granulated sugar

1. In bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.
|
2. Add salt and almond extract; continue beating until soft peak forms.
|
3. Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until stiff. Into this egg-white mixture, fold pecans and chocolate.
