What You Need:            (To Make: 1 cake)

  • Rashers of streaky bacon
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 4 eggs
  • ¼ pint milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter
  • Chives

  • How To Cook:
    1. Fry or grill a few rashers of streaky bacon and keep them hot.

    2. Put corn flour in a bowl; eggs into it, milk and salt and pepper to taste.

    3. Beat it all up with a whisk.

    4. Heat an omelet pan and melt a good knob of butter in it.

    5. Pour in the egg mixture and cook quickly until nearly set, shaking the pan from time to time.

    6. Arrange the cooked bacon on the top and turn out on to a hot dish.

    7. Garnish with chopped chives.
