8 oz seedless raisins
4 oz flour
4 eggs
8 oz granulated sugar
8 oz ground hazel nuts

1. Beat the eggs and sugar in a basin over hot water until thick and pale yellow.
|
2. Fold in the nuts, raisins and flour and put into a buttered and floured 7-inch cake tin.
|
3. Then bake in a moderate oven (325°F) for 1¼ - 1½ hours.
