What You Need:
(To Serve: 6 - 8)

1 pound potatoes
1 pound onions
1 pound tomatoes
1 pound neck of mutton
1 pound cauliflower
Salt and pepper
2 oz rice
2 teaspoons paprika
1½ oz dripping
½ pint water or stock

How To Cook: |

|
1. Prepare the vegetables, cutting the potatoes, tomatoes and cauliflower into small pieces.'
|
2. Add the rice (and any other vegetables you have left over) and mix well.
|
3. Melt the dripping in a frying pan and slowly fry the chopped onions and the sliced meat.
|
4. When the meat is half cooked, add the other vegetables, mix well, season and put the mixture into a casserole with the water.
|
5. Cook in a moderate oven (350°F) for 1½ hours.
